Whether you have traveled to the United States to seek relief as a refugee, gained entrance with a student visa, or moved to seek a better life for your family - the experience associated with enculturation (i.e. learning/practicing English, separation anxiety due to key supportive family members left behind, grief over loss family members, survivor's guilt, gaining employment, embracing this country's history, understanding the nuances of becoming and maintaining your status), can be frustrating and a trigger for past trauma. At Ince Counseling, our goal is to create a safe space in which you can present your person and your concerns in hopes of obtaining some relief through talk therapy. We are offering brief therapy via 3 free sessions to allow you to identify your goals and take on a few tools to help mitigate the stress of rebuilding your life in a new country.
